broken hearted angry about this list

I have a five year old Standard Poodle that is my only child, he is card for to extremes, thinking I've only provided the BEST products for him
He is now staying at the emergency vet hospital with renal failure and every poisiong symptom . Since I cannot produce a product that is on this so called list no one is willing to say the poison word. the quincidences ar to many
The first local vet visit was to weeks ago the day before this hit the news, the symptoms increased but being a dog he also hid them well, the only answers i could get were are the products on the list.
WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO GET ON THE LIST< DOES HE HAVE TO DIE
I have treats from China and packaged in new Jersey Dry and canned food from a company that says only there pouches are contaminated, and meanwhile I'm loosing my best friend at a thousand dollars a day.
Please help me understand what is happening to our lives
